Annapurna Circuit Trek
Trip Overview
Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the recommended treks to do in Nepal. It’s two weeks long trek and can be customized. The trek begins at Besishar or Syange in the Marshyangdi river valley and concludes in the Kali Gandaki Gorge. This trek explores the massifs Annapurna and its beauty. This region is full of nature and the unique culture of Himalayan people Gurung and Thakali. The classic trek in the Annapurna region is the Annapurna Circuit. One can taste the Nepalese lifestyle and their culture.
This trek holds both the aspect of Hinduism and Buddhism culture. It’s one of the classic treks in Nepal which takes you right from tropical to alpine zone discovering the varied landscape and scenery. The diversity of landscape is surreal and astounding, but the final climax of the trek is crossing over the Thorung La Pass, which has an elevation of 5,416 meters.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel .O/N at Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Day 03: Kathmandu to Syange via Besi Shahar. (1340m/4396ft)
Day 04: Syange to Tal. (1700m/5576ft)
Day 05: Tal to Bagarchahap
Day 06: Bagarchhap to Chame (2595m)
Day 07: Chame to Pisang (3015m)
Day 08: Pisang to Manang (3,500m/11,482ft)
Day 09: Explore Manang
Day 10: Manangto Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft)
Day 11: Yak Kharka to Thorong Base Camp (4600 m)
Day 12: Thorung Base Camp to Thorong La (5416m) to Muktinath (3800m)
Day 13: Rest at Muktinath
Day 14: Muktinath to Marpha (2670m)
Day 15: Marpha to Kalopani (2530m) 5 to 6 hours
Day 16: Kalopani to Tatopani (1190m) 6 to 7 hours
Day 17: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2850 m) -7 to 8 hours
Day 18: Ghorepani (2855m), Poonhill (3200m high) to Tadapani (2,710m) 6 to 7 hours
Day 19: Tadapani to Ghandruk: (1940m) 4 to 5 hours
Day 20: Ghandruk trek to Nayapul or direct drive to Pokhara 6 to 7 hrs
Day 21: Stay one day in Pokhara or drive to Kathmandu.
Day 22: Kathmandu at your own, Farwell Dinner
Day 23: Fly back Home
