Trip Overview

Another name of Sagarmatha is Mt.Everest. Mt.Everest (8848m)  is the world’s highest mountain in the world. Everest Base Camp is one of the thrilling and famous trekking in the world of adventures. This Sagarmatha region is famous for the Sherpa people and their cultures.

Everest Base Camp trek through the beautiful landscape of Khumbu valley and sherpa villages in the high mountains.  It is a 12 days trek from scenic flight to Lukla then trek to basecamp which combines tough terrains, extremely high altitudes, stunning landscape with the icing on the cake being Mt.Everest itself.

Early morning hike to Kala Pattar (5545m) for unrivaled views of Mt.Everest, Mt.Lhotse, Nuptse, and surrounding peaks.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and preparation for permits.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2840m) – Phakding (2610m)
Day 04: Phakding – Namche Bazar (3440m)
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar
Day 06: Namche Bazar – Tengboche(3860m)
Day 07: Tengboche -Dingboche(4410m)
Day 08 : Acclimatisation day at Dingboche
Day 09: Dingboche – Lobuche (4910m)
Day 10: Lobuche – Gorakhshep(5140m), visit Everest base camp.
Day 11: Visit Kalapathar (5545m) early morning , take breakfast and trek to Lobuche
Day 12: Lobuche – Tengboche
Day 13: Tengboche – Namche Bazzar via Kumjung
Day 14: Namche Bazzar – Lukla (2840m)
Day 15: Fly back from Lukla to Kathamndu, rest, ( extra day needed due to weather conditions)
Day 16: Kathmandu sightseeing.

Day 17: Kathmandu sightseeing and evening celebrate your Everest Base Camp Trek with farewell Nepali dinner.

Day 18: Fly back home
